Wow- we just returned from a fantastic Norwex leader conference! Norwex provided great training, even more fabulous business tools & a networking opportunity with other top leaders .

A rare Swiss apple is being hailed in the cosmetic and fashion world as an exciting anti-ageing breakthrough – even Michelle Obama is rumoured to be a fan.
Used in creams and serums, stem cells from the Uttwiler Spätlauber apple are said to protect skin cell regeneration and so delay the onset of wrinkles. The discovery was made by a Swiss company.
The November edition of the United States Vogue magazine went as far as to call the variety “the super-apple”, and asked if the tree could be “the new fountain of youth”.
The Uttwiler Spätlauber, which was first recorded in the 18th century, comes from canton Thurgau, in northern Switzerland.
It is well known for its excellent storability; it can stay fresh looking for up to four months after being harvested, long after other varieties have become wrinkled.
However, it has not been widely cultivated of late because of its sour taste and the number of trees have dwindled.
Amazing longevity
Having collected some samples, Swiss researchers set to work and found that the answer mostly lay in the amazing longevity of the apple’s stem cells. Humans have skin stem cells, which replenish and maintain the balance of cells within the skin tissue and regenerate tissue which has been damaged. But with age, the number of skin stem cells decreases and their ability to repair the skin becomes less efficient. The result is – with added environmental damage like UV rays – a loss of skin vitality, and inevitably, wrinkles…

Ashley, from Sioux Falls, recently wrote: “Hello Sonya! I have to tell you…. I’ve been using the face cloth I won and my face has never looked so good… I wish I would have had this when I was a teenager! Also, I’m thoroughly impressed with the antibac cloth I won. The night I got home I was running around cleaning like mad because it was so fun and I remembered some horrible tar spots I had on my carpet. I’d tried everything on them and they wouldn’t come up. I figured “hey… I just won this so if I ruin it I won’t be out anything” so I gave the cloth a shot and they all came out!!! I’m sold! I also loved the detergent! I had a stinky armband for my ipod and nothing took the smell out until I tried this!” 
And thanks to Angela, also of Sioux Falls, who called to tell me how excited she is about using the Norwex Enviro Cloth to clean her microfiber couch… with just water! She even sent a snap shot of the difference between a cleaned and not-yet-cleaned areas! Angela said: “Previously I did try using an old towel to clean the ottoman, but it made no difference. Once I cleaned it with the basic cloth (a small yellow one from the “travel kit”), it removed the soil & the water spots. I drew a line with my finger against the nap to clearly define where I had cleaned…though that wasn’t really necessary.”

I want to thank Lisa C. from Omaha Nebraska, for sharing feedback on her Norwex products!
“I love my Norwex products and don’t know how I’d live without them now. I use the laundry detergent and dryer balls and also the microfiber Enviro cloths and the window cloth on everything. I also have the dust mitt, kitchen cloths and bathroom scrub mitt. I see there are new make-up remover cloths and I’m thinking I’ll be trying those the next time my normal cleanser runs out. How do people deal with all those nasty chemicals anymore?
My boss actually got me started by giving me a microfiber cloth and window cloth. He told me they were like miracle cleaners. I didn’t believe him at first. But thought I’d give them a try on my sliding glass door that I never seemed to be able to get streak free. I have two dogs and two little boys so it was always a constant battle. Once I used them one time and saw how they worked I’ve never looked back!
One thing I’d like to add about the laundry detergent: I have a front loading machine. I used to have a “musty” smell all of the time coming from my washer. If you have a front loader, you’ll know what I’m talking about. I had “googled” the problem and there’s all sorts of cleaners and things that are recommended. I saw one post that recommended the Norwex laundry detergent. They said that after using it for a few weeks, the smell completely disappeared. Knowing how I loved the microfiber cloths I thought I’d give it a try. They were right…the smell is completely gone and I won’t use any other detergent. I’ve been using it for about 2 years now along with the dryer balls (instead of fabric softener). I thought the detergent was expensive until I figured out I only go through about 2 bags a year. I figure I’m saving at least $200 in laundry detergent/fabric softener costs a year.”

Thanks to Jaclyn in Illinois for sharing these photos of her stove before and after being “Norwexed”! She said she had tried multiple other products to try to clean the burner areas, but did not have success.
Jaclyn shared that she cleaned this with a WET Norwex spirinett & then cleaned with a Norwex cloth. (Always use your spirinettes wet!) I’m typically very cautious about using our spirinettes since they are powerful stainless steel scrubbers, and I recommend ALWAYS testing them on an inconspicuous area before proceeding. They are, after all, stainless steel & should never be used on surfaces that scratch easily, such as porcelain.

If you are concerned about scratching a surface like your stove top, another fantastic cleaning option is the cleaning paste with either the Norwex Enviro cloth or the Norwex Kitchen Scrub cloth. (Again, always recommended to test an inconspicuous area first.)

“Sonya, I must get back to you about the Descaler. I have to tell you – it is amazing. Being a clean freak, as soon as I got it, I used it. I think I told you the main reason I got it was because of my 12″ rain shower showerhead with about 100 holes it where the hard water would sit and leave spots and scale up. I would clean it all the time but never could quite get it the way it should be. The descaler made it look better than it has since I purchased it. I then used it on my shower doors which we squeegee every time we shower much to my husband’s disdain… and they look better too. I am so glad I purchased it. I am just back from a fantastic trip to Florida where I met some more amazing people- I’m so excited to see the good news about Norwex spreading throughout the southern states. We can use *your* help in bringing Norwex to America! I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback that I received from a customer yesterday. (By the way, I always love to hear your review of the Norwex products… I have learned so much from my customers on ways that they have found these products to be fantastic!)
Susan M. from Asheville, North Carolina shared: “Hey, Sonya! One of my cats promptly threw up a HUGE hairball last night and I used the blue Norwex cloth and it took the stain out of the carpet like magic. I usually have to put oxyclean on the carpet but this time only water and the Norwex cloth got that nasty orangey stain right out and it didn’t wick back up through the carpet as it usually does. I’m IMPRESSED!”
