Is Norwex a fit?

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

I’m an educator.

I love helping people.

As a physical therapist, I taught people how to take care of their bodies to promote proper healing.  As a birthing instructor, I provide valuable training to empower women in their Sonya 21birthing experience.  As a mom, I teach my children.  So at first glance, I wasn’t sure that Norwex was a “fit”.  “I’m not a sales person”, I thought.  But it didn’t take me long to realize that as a Norwex Independent Consultant, I am still an educator providing valuable information that improves lives…

…by showing others how to save hundreds of dollars on their cleaning budget so they have more money to spend on what they enjoy!
…by teaching them an EASY & EFFECTIVE way to actually make cleaning FUN!
…by teaching them how to cut their cleaning time in half so they can spend more time with their family and friends!
…by presenting an easy way to RADICALLY reduce the chemicals in their home to help protect their health and the health of their loved ones.
…by sharing another way to be good stewards of our Earth and help reduce chemicals and waste that go down our drains and into our landfills!
And last, but definitely not least …by introducing others to an incredible business opportunity, helping them find a solution to financial challenges!!

Customers benefit from education and service to accompany our products… which is why the home party model is the best way to share Norwex.  We are looking for passionate, motivated people to help us with this mission!   If you love our products and love to help people,  you will want to take a serious look at Norwex as a business!  The rewards of sharing Norwex have been incredible.  And of course, the financial rewards have also been a blessing!   I invite you to take a look at what Norwex has to offer.  Discover Norwex!

How about that Dusting Mitt?!

Sunday, November 7th, 2010

What happened the last time you dusted?  Did you find that your dusting cloth seemed to simply redistribute the dust rather than REMOVING it?  Do you ever find yourself sneezing or starting an allergy or asthma attack when you dust?  Would you like to actually decrease how often you need to dust?

If you answered YES to these questions, DISCOVER the Norwex dusting mitt!    Norwex Dusting Mitt

When using the mitt, a static charge is created to attract  dust particles INTO the mitt, rather than simply relocating the dust temporarily, only to have it resettle 20 minutes later. Every time you dust with Norwex, the amount of dust that comes back gradually decreases, meaning that over time, you have to dust less!  What’s not to love about that!!?   Here are a few simple tips to try when dusting with your Norwex mitt:

• You do not need to apply pressure when using the Dusting Mitt.  The plush Norwex microfiber actually likes to have room to work.  However, many customers have reported that the mitt removes fingerprints with just a bit of pressure, but for general dusting, you don’t need the pressure!!

• Fold your mitt in half and rub the fibers against themselves before dusting (or use the Norwex rubber static brush!) to help create a stronger static charge to suck up the dust.

•The Norwex Rubber Brush is fantastic for cleaning the dust into the garbage and extending the amount you can use the mitt before laundering.  It is a great way to “recharge” the static cling of the fibers, too!

•Energy Tip:  Dust the back of your fridge to allow it to run more efficiently.

• Some customers like to use the mitt slightly dampened for certain surfaces, and this is fine to do, as well.

• Great for dusting ceiling fan blades!  Who knows how they can get so dirty!!  But they seem to stay cleaner longer when cleaned with Norwex!

• If you have used a lot of furniture polish or Pledge in the past, the mitt will tend to pick up those residues over time.  If you start to notice that your mitt is not picking up as effectively, it may be time to boil it in a kettle of water for 12 minutes to let it release the oily residues that are hindering its static charge.  And remember my Norwex microfiber care tips:  no bleach, no fabric softener/ dryer sheets, no linty loads.

Enjoy a cleaner, greener, safer home!  Discover Norwex!  Buy Norwex online or call me at 605-271-1814.  I often have a monthly special deal to offer on the Enviro cloth, window cloth, dusting mitt trio!  Be sure to ask me for details!  And just $4.95 shipping in the US & Canada!

Thanks for visiting!

How do Norwex cloths work?

Sunday, November 7th, 2010

Do Norwex cloths do what we say they do?  And how do they work?

Norwex microfibers thoroughly clean by mechanically removing dust, grease & grime rather than chemically cleaning.   Buy Norwex Cloths Online 24/7!

The Norwex fibers are microscopically small, and reach into the tiniest crevices!  Then the Norwex microfiber traps and holds on to the dirt, grease, and grime, until you wash out the cloth.   Using JUST WATER and a Norwex cloth, you can clean your home using only water.

And the naturally antimicrobial silver agent embedded into the fibers of the Enviro cloth microfiber is just one more reason that makes Norwex amazing!   It inhibits the growth of microscopic organisms within the cloth.

I invite you to try Norwex for yourself!  Remember:  Norwex stands behind their incredible products with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee!  That’s how much we know you will love these products and that they WILL improve your quality of life!  Order your own set of Norwex cleaning cloths today!  You’ll be so glad you did!  I strive to provide excellent customer service and I’m happy to answer questions that you may have about our Norwex products.  Don’t hesitate to call:  605.271.1814.  You’re welcome to place your order by phone, as well.  We ship anywhere in the USA or Canada for just $4.95!!

Across the USA…

Friday, November 5th, 2010

Hello again!  As I was driving back to Sioux Falls from Cedar Rapids, I was just appreciating the fantastic travel opportunities that Norwex has offered me… and I do love an excuse to travel!  :)   Norwex brings me to Cedar Rapids, Chicago, Kansas City, California, Minnesota, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Florida… and other locations across the USA!   And I was excited to earn the Caribbean cruise incentive this past year.  What an amazing company.  What an amazing, FUN job!!

If you’re looking for a FUN career that you can be passionate about (as well as one that can offer you the opportunity to travel), you’ll want to take a close look at what Norwex has to offer.  We are changing lives!  Impacting our Earth.  Teaching others easy & effective “green cleaning” and ways to radically reduce chemical use!   I’d love to have you come along side of me in this mission!  (And, I’d love an excuse to come to your area!)  Become a Norwex consultant yourself.  You can learn more about becoming a consultant by going to my “Join our Team” page.  I would be very honored to be your trainer and leader.

So… on another  note…  I call this a “Thank Goodness for Norwex!!” or “TGFN” experience:    A couple days ago my oldest son was trying to fix his bike chain & got grease all over his hands.  He was in a big hurry to head over to a friend’s house, so didn’t actually wash the grease off before drying his hands on the beige Norwex tea towel that I use as a hand towel in the bathroom.  I didn’t get around to pretreating it until a day later and wasn’t overly optimistic about it coming out (although I certainly should be by now!!)!  I used my Norwex Dishwashing Liquid, rubbed the towel against itself and almost immediately the grease stains were completely GONE.  And I have the before and after photos to share with you.

Grease-stained tea towel Grease GONE!

Once again… TGFN!  :)

What would YOU rather wash your clothes in?

Laundry Detergent Experiment

OK… so I did this little laundry detergent experiment OVER A YEAR AGO!!  I took the detergent that most of my customers guess to be the most popular laundry detergent in America… the High Efficiency kind in both HE liquid and HE powder (the powder one also had fabric softener built in) and I put in the amount for a MEDIUM load in an HE washing machine.  I also put the amount of Norwex Ultra-Plus Laundry Detergent that we use in our HE washer for a medium load (just 1/2 teaspoon!) and put them all in the same amount of water.  Almost 1 1/2 years later, you can see that 2 of them are still full of fillers (and of course fragrance, too), and  the liquid is full of blue dye. Notice the gummy stuff settling to the bottom of the jar with the liquid!  Yuck!  What is America washing their clothes with?!  Norwex laundry detergent does a fantastic job of cleaning… and it has no fillers, fragrance, or dyes!  I can tell you the “clear” laundry solution:)   For a standard (non-HE) washer, you’ll use one 2T scoop per load.  For a HE machine, 1/2 teaspoon if soft water (some people even fins 1/4 teaspoon to be enough with soft water!!) and about 1 teaspoon per load if hard water.  And don’t forget to replace your toxic fabric softener & dryer sheets with the Norwex Dryer Balls!  (Why do you think dryer sheets keep mice out of your RV?  Rodents are too smart to go near the stuff!)

Well, I think a picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll just leave it at this today!

Thanks to Norwex, my team, hostesses, & customers!!

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

And also a great big thank you to all of my hostesses who do their part in helping us bring Norwex to America!   What a gift to share with our friends and family!   “Gentle on our families & gentle on our planet!”  And a huge thanks to each of my customers!   Thanks for doing your part to take care of your family and our Earth.  I’m always very excited when you drop me an email or give me a call with your own Norwex stories of how these products have impacted your life!  And a thank-you-in-advance to each person who chooses to join me in the Norwex mission!  I look forward to meeting you.  :)

New 2010 Fall Products are Here!

New 2010 Fall Products are Here!

I’m excited to unveil the NEW 2010 Fall Products!  Children are our future!  We want them to learn safe, chemical-free ways of cleaning, as well as instilling an enjoyment of cleaning.  Well Norwex has once again came with the answer.  Give them their very own Norwex products so they can learn and love to “Norwex the house”!  The children mop is a favorite, to be sure, as well as the mitt that is sized just for little hands.  And the kid-friendly colors are great!  The kids back pack is the perfect place for them to carry “their” cleaning supplies, and also perfect for lunches or trips to the park.

The veggie and fruit scrub cloth is back by popular demand!  This cloth has been proven to remove some pretty nasty stuff from our fruits and vegetables.  It’s also great in conjunction with our Fresh Wash.  For certain produce (i.e. broccoli), you need the Fresh Wash.  This cloth helps remove the “bio film” from our fruits and veggies!

The Lint Mitt is perfect size for tucking in your purse and taking on travel.  It works great!

The Norwex Washing Net bag is great for storing clean Norwex cloths, as well as for collecting, laundering, and drying the soiled cloths.  Very sturdy and well made, this bag will make laundering your Norwex microfiber even easier!

Last but no least… the suede, antibac make-up removal cloths.  These are great for sensitive skin around the eye area (as well as for those of you with sensitive skin!).  Stains wash out more easily than the Body Pack Cloths due to the tight weave.  These are perfect for traveling, too!

Call or email me today if you have any questions about our new products.  And feel free to order online or via phone or email.  I look forward to assisting you!

Dirty Upholstery? Norwex to the rescue!

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Do your fabric or microfiber couches, chairs, and other upholstery need some cleaning?
Check out what just the Norwex Enviro Cloth and water can do!  cleaning dirty upholstery with Norwex

On my recent trip to California, I had the opportunity to take on the stains on this ivory chair upholstery with just an Enviro cloth & water!  Guess which side we cleaned!  :) I simply sprayed the left side with water & proceeded to wipe it clean with just a damp Enviro cloth!  Please DO try this at home… and prepare to be amazed.

For those of us with pets and/or children, we can appreciate that cloth upholstery doesn’t always stay so pristine looking.  I’ve gotten tons of positive feedback from customers telling me the miraculous transformation after using the Enviro cloth with water… (and occasionally a little Norwex carpet cleaner (Carpet Stain Buster) is warranted- especially if pet stains).  At a recent party, the hostess was raving about how well the Enviro cleans her microfiber chair, and she said she loves to use the Rubber Brush to sort of freshen the nap of the microfiber, too!

And while we’re talking about the miracles that the Norwex cloths can do, let’s talk about carpet stains!  I have been amazed by the variety of stains I’ve been able to get out of carpets with just a Norwex Enviro cloth and water… pet stains, black grease stains left from chairs, tar, and more!  And of course, we have the Carpet Stain Buster for the extra stubborn, organic stains.  Simply spray the stain liberally with water and then use a damp Enviro cloth to gently massage out the stain (don’t scrub, just a gentle blotting works well).  Voila!!  Just a few more reasons Norwex will make your life easier!

Sanira Toilet System

Monday, February 8th, 2010

sanir_toiletThe Sanira Toilet System is great! I love that it doesn’t get all orange and yucky like typical toilet brushes. It actually looks very neat next to my toilets. The cleaning solution and the brush are produced from environmentally-friendly raw materials. The cleaning solution is vegetable-based with coconut oil and a naturally-occurring sugar surfactant. The brush doesn’t contain metal parts. Using only 3/4 teaspoon weekly (compared with 2T of traditional cleaners) the solution will last approximately 1 year! The Sanira solution is not poisonous nor corrosive. And it breaks down within 48 hours compared to other solutions that need at least 30 days!!   Might I add… I think the Sanira solution smells wonderful! :)   Diluted in some water, it’s a great way to freshen up the toilet area in the bathroom!

Here in Cedar Rapids, customers often mention the “pink ring” in the toilet, as well as the pink scum that accumulates in the shower.  In my experience, this system removes that from our toilets!  Yay!  :)   I must admit that toilets can present quite a cleaning challenge sometimes, and there are times when you’ll need to pull out “the big guns” when facing a particularly stubborn toilet task.  Some people have found that the DeScaler and spirisponge work great on the more stubborn stains like hard water build-up.  First you will want to pour a gallon bucket of water quickly into your toilet.  This lowers the water level, allowing your cleaner more direct contact with the porcelain.  Then you can either apply the Sanira solution full-strength & let it set for a bit, or you can apply DeScaler and let set for 10 minutes before cleaning with Spirisponge.  (As a side note:  porcelain scratches very easily, so you would not want to use a product such as our spirinetts on your toilet!  It will scratch off the porcelain.)   The Sanira brush is different from your standard toilet brush, and takes a bit of getting used to.  I have had a couple of customers say that it does not fit well down into the “toilet hole” in some older or smaller toilets.
